On the other bits from the previous update, unfortunately there wasn't enough in the tax return with other requirements to get tires on anything, and the motorcycle is still sitting at the moment. :( So Corsair got all the love, even if not all I'd planned. We'll have to work everything else in as able.

 

Life sucks sometimes, as does being responsible. Corsair got caught out in the big hail storm here in the Springs end of July and USAA totalled him. Given our current situation, and that I've been given a new assignment, we decided to let them buy him. So Corsair's gone.
I'll be posting parts I was able to pull off before they took him.

It's been fun. Maybe in the future I'll be back with another one.

 

So sorry to hear that. The hail storms in the Springs can be sudden and brutal. My wife got caught in one in our brand new car and pulled into our driveway with dozens of bird feeders all over it.

Hope you get another MINI! Where's your new assignment, if you can share that?

Ouch, that's some bad luck! Another MINI's likely in the future, just not for a little while. I'm heading out to Vandenberg AFB in the winter.
