Yea, I know the op bought the car, but for future reference...

If it were me,

1.) I'd have seen if any of the cars could be put in the Certified Preowned program. (CPO) Yes it would cost a bit more, but extending the factory bumper to bumper warranty to 6 years, 100,000 miles might be worth it. The extended service warranty not so much.

2.) You really need to compare all the options, and see which are must haves for you. Again, IMO, the Bi-xenon lights are a deal breaker. I'll NEVER EVER get another car without them. When I bought my 2010 HT S, there were no cars in the country that had the exact options I wanted. No I did not want to compromise and do without. So I ordered the car, and I waited. 10 weeks later I got it. The only thing I skipped at the time was the mechanical LSD for $500. Well that turned out to be a $1500 mistake. (had a Quaife LSD installed later...lol)

3.) Lastly, relationships. Yea, I know. You can buy a car from anywhere, and get warranty done at a local dealer, but there is something to be said for developing a relationship at a dealer.

Sorry for making everyone wait on pics! I'll get on that this weekend. Any tips for working with a MINI to get the most out of a photo shoot? Can I give the car some motivation or direction? Maybe I can try to shoot some wistful or coy looks.

Maybe a brooding look on a dark and stormy night. Or a mysterious look while peeking through the fog.

Good tips all around! I like the idea of the mysterious look in the fog!

I'll try to keep the photos G rated, but I think my MINI just might have a little bit of Chippendales in him.

I'm waiting on my vanity plate and plate frame. Then maybe some stripes!

Looking good! I go back and forth between Lightning and Laser being my favorite blue.

I do like most of the blues. I like Laser blue a little better, but I'm happy with this color. I have the black roof but I really want white strips. I sort of feel like you're supposed to match your roof, but white would lighten the car up. Maybe I'll do white with black stripes to tie it all together.

Decisions, decisions...
