MINI Themed Plastidipped Table

I got bored recently, and a buddy of mine gave me a ton of plastidip as a gift. No better way than to make some MINI stuff!

Masked the table to match my MINI clock

After coating fully in red matte plastidip and peeling tape immediately.

added the MINI stencil, was very hard to do with plastidip.. Ended up having to cut it out with a razor.

I'm really loving the racing stripe one, but the other is nice too. Think I'd have just gone with paint for a sub-$10 Ikea table, though. Would last longer and the table is virtually disposable if you get tired of it.

Edit: but then, I don't already have a ton of PD laying around, either.

I agree with the paint but as you said, I have dip laying around.
The gloss tables are 12$ so really breaking the bank there.
In the end I really wanted to dip something before dipping my 2014 S for the first time just to see how it lays on.

How did you get the lines so sharp?

Put all coats on at once and peel the tape up while it's wet. If you wait longer than about 60sec after spraying you will end up peeling the dip up.

Thanks. I have used it before on my mini but never dealt with trying to get lines. I simply did the chrome on my car.

Thanks again.

You will like my computer case then... I went a little overboard on the dip that weekend.
