Headlight housing question

I know this has probably come up before, but i used to have an 8th gen accord and was in my8thgen. I had the inside of my headlight housing wrapped in vinyl, it seems almost impossible with my mini. any ideas on how to do it? I just got the mini 2 months ago after owning hondas my entire life....what a change! lol. Anyways, i just got the roof wrapped in leopard print...dont judge lol. But i wanna add the same vinyl to my housing. any ideas??

If you look around you should find threads on opening up the headlights... Many people have done the "joey mod" and painted the insides. I suspect it'll be the same methods you would have used on your Accord headlights (oven, etc.). That said, I've never heard of anyone vinyl wrapping the insides - temperature would likely be an issue (particularly if you happen to have Xenons) even if you were able to get the vinyl to cover / adhere to the complex inner bit.

Welcome to the MINI world. I would look up the Joey Mod or opening housings, 200F for 5-7 min and slowly work the sealant part and walk the lens off.

You will melt any vinyl you put in the housing.
