Nervous About My CVT?

Hello all. Thanks for taking the time to read my dilemma. I have a 2004 R50 with a cvt automatic transmission. As of now, it has around 107,000~ miles on it. I haven't had any problems with the CVT yet, but dread the day when I know it will come. What options do I have? I do really like the thought of a 6 speed getrag because I love manuals and hear they are pretty reliable. How much would this install cost? Also, what can I do to delay the inevitable? I am planning on changing the tranny fluid soon, and a host of other Maintence including belts, plugs, coolant, etc. thanks in advance!

Do a search?
The switch to a stick is MORE $$ than getting another cvt to drop in....guess if you get a wrecked donor car for parts cheap...and diy most of it...then sell the spares...then costs are limited to getting the computer flashed...maybe a few odds and ends...but lots of TIME.
So it is a labour of love imo....
Driven nicely, and given regular fluid changes, some cvt trannys do last...
So if you are a "sedate" driver...bet it might last a bit...
Want a stick?! Unless the car is THE PERFECT CAR THAT YOU LOVE, buy a stick imo.
