That bumper is fascinating. According to the website it's designed for trucks to add some crash protection to forces that would otherwise go straight into the frame rails, and for SUVs that don't have functional bumpers. For the mini, on one hand I fear that it would transmit more forces directly into the frame, without the factory bumper to distribute them. And on the other hand, given the factory bumpers are required to deal with so little force, and US federal impact standards have no cosmetic survival requirements even at 2.5 mph, this seems on balance like a good idea.

Do you use their mini rubber shock absorbers on your front license plate?

Then I know I am ready to roll.
Awesome. I enjoy the start-up chirps of my V1 radar detector. I have it hardwired on switched power; I hear it powering up from outside the car when I unlock the doors from a distance away.

Well,
This is going to sound bad but I fear getting rear ended to much. Maybe just too many previous accidents? The Super Bumper site makes a smaller version for the 1 1/4 inch receiver. But it is so small that unless you were hit dead on there is a chance you could miss it.

My goal was to put something back there for stop lights very low impact. I am sure above 10 mph there would be damage but I hear Mini's are really put together very well. Just trying to avoid the body shop. Or getting rear ending and the police refusing to right up a accident report only to take Mini to the shop to find damage under the car that can't easily be seen at the accident sight. Been in that situation before.

Here, I swear people will get within three inches of your bumper at lights and such. Just makes me nervous as I don't want the back end of my car to look a mess from scuffs and scratches.

The hitch is great for bike racks and towing a few bikes as they make a trailer just for bikes.

It's not much, but my matte metallic grey wrap with hot pink accents. I wanted some hot pink to go with it, but I didn't want it too much. This was the result.

Mine was just the opposite: Got the roof of my (then) BRG Clubman wrapped in white at AMVIV a couple of years ago. It really looked sharp!

I’d have to say replacing the stock exhaust and header.

My intake and pulley were the first mods I ever did so they'll always be special to me

Other than that I'd have to say my wheels and suspension as they visually distinguish my car from all the other stock minis out there.

I always wanted to do that with my R53 and I never did. I'm glad you were able to live out my R53 dreams!

Thank you, definitely changed the look immensely. My girl friend doesn't even notice a difference, and I get yelled at for not noticing haircuts...
