Gotta love those with such a 'great' mindset haha. You'll get those morons on here, sad part is, it's about 60% of this forum.

LOL, some of the comments in this thread are funny. TRWXXA, you really need to chill out, my guess is that you have also sped at some point in your life, so to come on here and get all pissy is a little silly don't you think? The OP owned it once he saw that there was a sign, fair enough.

Raffy, don't just pay. If this is your first offense, ask if you can take defensive driving to get it dismissed. There are multiple on-line courses available and it may save you money and points. I grew up in Texas and have done this myself.

Now that you guys mentioned defensive driving. It says on the bottom of my ticket that I can go see a judge in person and request permission to take a driver safety course to dismiss your citation.

Go Texas lol, that's your advantage right there,.. I wish we had that in NY. :-(( maybe we do who knows.

By the way people who say they never lie to me are the worse liars. So don't listen to those that pretend to never brake the rules even by accident like no using signals when switching lanes etc... That can also mess someone else's life in a second too.

Good luck

"deferred adjudication"

You didn't say it was in Texas in the beginning...I'm thinking you just lucked out.....

Call the clerk of court number on the ticket (don't wait for the court date) and ask what you need to do for "deferred adjudication" on the ticket.

You can only do this if you have "NO" tickets on your driving record and you will need to take a state approved 6 hour Defensive Driving Course.

Please note: The next time you pass through a school zone, it's a $200 to $300 fine and a moving violation for using a mobile device in a school zone in Texas...

Good Luck and Happy Motoring....
