Mini All 4 Racers Sweep Dakar 2014
The X-Raid, 2.5 ton, 3L twin Turbo Diesel, wrapped in a Countrymanish body panels, took 1,2,3 for 2014. This defended wins in 2012 and 2013. If they actually built and offered these behemoths in the US someone would buy them.
At 2.5 tons with ~180gals of fuel onboard I am not sure you could sell it as a Mini. Perhaps, an old GM nameplate that started with H.
