Key Stuff

Hello,

I am new to this site. However, I am not new to the Mini thing. I bought a used 2009 Mini last year and totaled it hitting a tree. I broke a leg and survived! There are a lot of airbags and stuff that helped. I just bought another used 2009 Mini. I still have one of the old keys and want to know if I can use it somehow for this new one. I know you can pop it out of the main apparatus and it is a key so I guess that would have to be replaced but the damn things are so expensive. They gave me only 1 key for this one I just got so my plan is to get a second and hope to save some money with the old one I have somehow. Any help would be great.

Tnx,
