JCW Intake Lower

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to find pictures of the lower half of the JCW Intake to make sure I'm not missing anything. I recently purchased a JCW Intake from a member here and he told me he only had the top part of the intake. He mentioned that the lower part of the box is the same as my stock and that I should just install the top along with the cone filter.

I don't want to make judgments on sound alone but I've noticed that my supercharger isn't as loud as other people (youtube videos) even after the 15% reduction pulley install.

Anyway, my question: Is the lower part of the JCW intake box the same as the lower part of the MCS box? The person I purchased it from had already removed the flap from the rear of the box so the intake is unrestricted. Just curious if the JCW lower part has more holes.

Thanks!

You should put this in the 1st gen forum, may catch more eyes. In the 2nd gen, the bottom half is the same and the JCW intake comes as only the top half. You could go to MINI's official website and see what the intake looks like in the photo?
