dip your car, plastic spray

Hi,

i was wondering if anyone has ever used this stuff, it's a plasti spray, i was thinking about using it to black out some of the chrome on my car. www.dipyourcar.com. a buddy of mine says a bunch of his Lexus friends swear by it.

or ill take suggestions/ideas on blacking out the chrome.

Lots of people have done this including myself. Its a fun and cheap way to change the look of your MINI. Plus its not permanent, the stuff peels right off if you don't like it. Lowes home improvement stocks it in black and white. Advice, make sure the can is not cold or it will come out textured and look funny. I like to warm my cans in a sink full of hot water for about 10 minutes first.

I have a LY Mini that I have blacked out all chrome with it except the beltline that I used the black tape on. Recently for no reason my rear bumper paint started coming off, so easily that I was able to take duck tape and pretty much strip the whole rear bumper. Was planning on getting it repainted LY but with my car blacked out I took a can of black and painted the bumper, it looks great and totally custom, almost looks as if the car originally came that way.
