Shi,
At least I am smarter than the first sales associate who said he couldn't help me with a 2014! I asked my regular MA to run a three year lease and it fit my budget and economic situation perfectly. My income goes up dramatically in 3 years and I'm going to be wanting to move up scale (God and old age willing). In the meantime I can put the top down and go faster at autocrosses.

Today we are looking at the Jetta hybrid to replace the Prius. The Jetta is faster than the base MINI and still gets 42/48mpg for $28k less $4k or 0% 60 months.
Congrats...
I suggest you look at the TDI...
Blast to drive with the TQ....if the current (more down market) jetta is not to you liking, the sport-wagon (also in TDI) is a holdover from the prior gen....nicer car...they cut lots out to lower the price....

Wife won't consider diesel and it is her car. We bought the $32,245 top of the line hybrid for $26,390 and $2,500 more than they initially offered us for the Prius. I can't believe they agreed to it but then I did just order a MINI from their sister dealership, and we had a VW from them before the Toyota. I think they are also happy to clear their lot of 2013 hybrids because the other dealers have a lot of them left.

Congrats on your new purchases. I guess you can occasionally borrow your wife's to alleviate the pain of waiting for the new roadster.
