New 2002 R53 MCS Chili Red Owner

Hi everyone!
Long time lurker on these forums and finally found my MCS after months of searching. Thanks for your advice to others I have thus encountered! What a pleasure to drive this car is!
2002 MCS 6-spd with 44k miles, I'm the second owner. It is Chili Red with white top/mirrors. Just like new except for a tear in the ebrake boot, some fading of the shifter map thingy, and very minor body damage. Oh, and the driver's side window sometime stutters when it rolls up. Does anyone know a cheap oem ebrake boot and a shifter map (the picture on top of the gear lever is yellowed and somewhat unattractive) thingy?
No transmission/clutch issues and it runs flawlessly. It's stalled about 3 times in the past two weeks when starting it up. It sort of sputters and cuts after a few seconds. It starts right up after another crank.
Also, is it normal for a fan in the engine compartment to stay on after turning off the vehicle for a minute or so?

Have a black DDMworks intake on the way
15% alta pulley + NGK iridium spark plugs going in on Friday

Any advice in particular with this car as far as preferred upgrades (will be a street-only car for now but I'm an enthusiast) and/or maintenance issues to watch out for?

Thanks and hi to everyone!
