Will my 130 lb Weimaraner 'fit' in a Mini

I've got the high hard one to buy a Mini Cooper S but I'm retired and I've got a dog that goes everywhere I go. I'd be changing from a Nissan Xterra (16 MPG Highway) and just wonder if anyone else carries there dog on trips?

I know of an R56s that regularly transports between one and three Weims, so it's possible.

Quite a few dog folks fold the rear seat down, then build a flat floor, then carpet it.
Doing this might give your dog a bit more length...even if you have a suitcase on one side!

We had a 90lb Vizsla. He loved riding in the clubman. (He was Idaho hunting stock, not an AKC Foo=Foo Vizsla.)

The Clubbie has a little more room than the hardtop.
