DIY viper strips - how wide?

I'm think of doing my own viper stripes when my justa clubman is delivered.

But what width? Seems the aftermarket stripes vary from 4-6 inches wide.

What looks best on a justa?

Mine are 8" wide and 6" apart. I'm not a fan of the smaller factory ones. Too small to look aggressive.

Can you post pics? I'd like to see this!

I was thinking of pulling the two stripes off the hood of our '11 MCS, and doing something custom or leave them off.

Here are mine. They are 6 or 7" wide with a 2" gap in the center with a 1/2" gap and 1/2" "pin stripe" to make it pop.

Looks great! Width matches up nice with the turbo scoop.

Did you paint or plasti-dip your chrome stuff?

The Viper stripes are great looking! We did the retro stripes with our in-house car. Both are very different looks from each other. Looking forward to the reveal soon!

Thanks, the grill surround is the JCW part from the dealer, the headlight rings, scuttles, and exhaust tips are PDed as well as my wheels and inside of my headlights (Xenon retrofit with parts form theretrofitsource.com). My beltline is from Outmotoring and my handles covers are form Aesthetic Creations (out of business now).
