Motorcycle tires are an entirely different story.

I carry sticky worms and tools, plugs, a Aerostitch small compressor, 5 CO2 cartridges, and inflator. (and my AMA roadside card) Then again, I tend to travel in more isolated places on the bike.

Probably good advice to test your equipment at home before taking it on the road. I check my air pressure ~ every month and use the 12V cigarette ligther-powered travel compressor to fill my tires when they're low. I've also used it to fill my bicycle tires too, so I know it's in good working order. My compressor may be on the inexpensive side but it performs as expected.
