Hi. This was on an ordered Mini. No one had the options and color I wanted.
It pays to get what you want!
Don't forget to check out Metroplex Mini. We are having a DIY ( Do It Yourself) day at MoD (Mini of Dallas) this next Saturday. Drop by if your interested.
Also, information about when the 2014 MY cars seems all over the place (dealers are saying 6 mos or more). Does anyone know when the 2014 models will be out?
2014 MY will be a completely new car (engine, body, styling), the 3rd generation MINI. It has not been officially announced or shown to the public yet. It is expected to start production this fall, and not available in the US until 2014.

I'm somewhat leary of car model updates. For the first couple of years of production all the bugs will have to be ironed out. Its kinda like buying the newest version of Windoze. I always wait a while.
I thought about waiting for the 2014 but wanted one sooner (I just couldn't wait)!

Agreed. MINIs have historically had issues in the first year(sometimes two) of production. The later models of each generation ('05+ R50/R53, '10/'11+ R56, and the '12+ Countryman) tend to be better than the earlier ones. I just bought a Countryman, so I'm not in the market for a long time, but if I still had my '10 R56, I would wait until the '15 models came out before I considered trading in.
