The wife needs a new ride so we figured we would check out the NY auto show to see what we want to test drive. The first booth I visit is the Mini booth with the GP right in front.

I asked the guy what number it was and he says it doesn't have one yet but inside the door it says number 1. This is the same mini that was doing the tour late last year. You may remember it if you we're at Lime Rock in September.

Well, I convince the wife to check you the countryman resulting in us stopping at Mini of Fairfield on the way home. Test drove a nice all4 hyper blue/white one. As we get out of the countryman I almost get hit by another mini. First thing I notice its growl. Second thing I notice is that it's a new GP


Last thing I notice is that it's 0002. Sweet

I'm sure the one at the auto show wasn't 0001 but if it was and I saw 0001 and 0002 inside of 2 hrs of each other and over 60 miles apart, that's pretty cool.

That is kinda funny, I like the new GP. The one in the dealer was in the showroom but locked so no sitting in it.
