I picked up my Mini in December. It was supposed to come with Voice Activated Dialing. However, I was told upon delivery that that feature doesn't seem to work. They told me that Mini would soon come up with a "Fix". I haven't heard anything. Does anyone know aything about this?

 

Welcome to technology. Voice activated anything doesn't work, it's been out for 20+ years with very little improvements.

Even apple can't fix it:

 

 

I'd rather be told "Well, bro, it doesn't work because, well, it doesn't, mang. At least they say it isn't gonna work for you anyway" than "SYNC IS THE GREATEST THING EVER INVENTED AND WILL READ YOU YOUR FAVORITE EROTIC NOVELS WHILE YOU DRIVE AND MASSAGE YOUR FEET WHILE YOU DRIVE AND MAKE YOU TOAST AND WILL SPIT OUT BACON FROM THE CD DRIVE" and have it not do any of that, like in my experience. That is, when it works. Which isn't often.
