2012, hit from behind question

So I was in rush hour trafic and got hit from behind. It was a low speed hit but it was a pretty good thump all the same. Im impressed with the Mini as I didnt get hardly any damaged and the car that hit me had damage, it was a Honda mini van. All I got was a bit of cracked paint on the rear bumper.

My question is, is there something or a trick to look for for hidden damage? I looked under the car and took out some of the carpet in the boot area but is there someting else?

The car seems to drive fine.

Have a professional look at it. I got hit from behind and didn't see any damage myself in my Focus, but found I had about $500 worth of scratches to the black plastic under my rear bumper and scratches to my rear bumper itself. There's things you will probably miss.

I think I will take it to the dealer body shop and have them go over it.
