OK - I tried a search but maybe I'm not using the right terms, so forgive me if this has already been addressed, but how does one get the window to completely open or close with a single press of the switch? We have two new 2013 MINI's - a hardtop and a Clubman - and in one the windows only raise or lower as long as the switch is depressed, while in the other they go all the way or down with a single press. Looked at the manual but it made absolutely no sense - something about how the radio is configured?

 

You should just flip the switch momentarily up or down or 1 touch operation.

 

They should both do it. If one car doesn't work the dealer may need to initialize the windows. There is no on the car configeration.

 

Anyway to have the sunroof auto open and close? My 2003 did it but the new car won't.

 

My. 08 sunroof won't do it. You have to hold the toggle till open. Can this be changed?

 

My 2008 has one pull on the toggle to pop up, one push to pop down closed. Past that point, full open\close is all manual. I like that because I like the venting of the pop up without a full opening, then I have control over the amount roof opens going past that initial point. It is kind of like the touch required for auto up down on the side window.
