Posted a 2:12 on my 3rd ever trackday. First time I posted 2:30, 18 second improvement and I can only thank my friends over at LTMW for coming out that day and tracking with me, and showing me his lines and what areas to improve.

 

Looks pretty quick to me! And you're taking that all apart to go back to stock?

 

Yeah. I came home Saturday and hit the track for the final time before the partout.

 

Nice vid! Good way to remember the car as it was before going back to stock.

 

Hope you had fun, but that place looks as featureless as the infield at Pocono... (a most miserable place...)

 

^lol. It's a fun track, not as technical as say Streets of Willow, but it's got a nice mixture of fast straights, and technical corners.

 

nice! It's been a long time since I've been on that track. I've had some wicked spins through the buttonhook in my C4 race car, which is the turn at 41sec in the video. Spent some time in a NASA CMC Camaro out there too. Haven't done it in a street car. Might have to do that some time in the Mini! looks like a blast!

 

Oh yeah if you go it'd be nice to see other MINIs out there with me. I'm always up for a good MINI challenge. Love that track.
