My Infiniti offered "Free Scheduled Maintenance" for the first 30k miles. Which is nice, except that the car doesn't required a whole lot of maintentance, other than oil changes every 7,500 miles (so that's 4 free oil changes) and maybe a couple of tire rotations.

I realize that MINI's (BMW's) program is more comprehensive. Being new to MINI world, I'm just trying to find out what I have to look forward to.
I visited with the folks in the service department just after I picked up the car. Told them what I was planning to do. They were fine with a courtesy inspection. Plus, I want to replace my wiper blades every six months if they'll go for it. I'll be at 5,000 miles around the 1st of the year. Rainy season will be over and wipers will likely need to be replaced anyway.

Desire sells you your 1st MINI, good customer relations goes a long way on the second and subsequent purchases.

when i had my 2012 cms all4 in for the coolant sensor recall, the mechanic performed an "inspection" of the car, i got an 8-1/2x11 report card

they measured/reported:
the tread depth of all 4 tires (and noted that since the wear was even front to back, no rotation was necessary, i had already rotated them myself 1000 miles before)
inspected and estimated the remaining brake pad life
topped up the washer fluid
checked the oil and noted the next due mileage
reported no leaks observed on engine and drive train
checked the hydraulic fluid and coolant levels
checked the wiper blades
washed the exterior and vacuumed/wiped down the interior

there may have been more, working from memory
