I'm looking at buying a Mini. After a few weeks of research I've found a yellow 2007 Base model that I like, but I noticed that the emblems on the front and back are solid silver with no black enamel. I haven't seen any others like this so I didn't know if it meant it had a certain package or something or if the previous owner had just somehow taken the black off. Anyone have any ideas?

 

Does it say MINI in the center of the emblem or is it an empty circle? If it's an empty circle, the decal probably just came off. If it says MINI or has some other finished design, it must be custom. You can get replacement decals for a few bucks and they just stick on.

 

It does say MINI in the center. Thanks, that's good to know. I kind of like the black better so I may get them replaced.

 

My rear emblem looked like crap when I bought my MINI. The black was about 99% etched off lol. I bought one for $5 on Amazon. Took the old one off with dental floss, and stuck the new one on. Took 5 minutes

 

Could you give us the name of the dealer on amazon or did the center wheel emblem fit?
