Mirror replacement

i have an 05 S, silver and black it came with the checkered flag mirror caps. and believe it or not it is a real pain trying to find solid black mirror caps.

anyone willing to trade or know where to find some replacements?

My 06 MCS had body color mirror caps stock, but a previous owner plastic dipped them and they are now black... I don't have any good pictures but I think you can see them here (wheels and grill and IC scoop are all plastic coated as well)

You can try plastic dipping (that was the purpose of me posting, but I neglected to mention that), but I don't know how expensive it is, since it was on the car when I bought it.

Have any pictures of the car yet? I am quite partial to the contrast of black/light colors. That's what drew me to my MCS when I first saw it...then I drove it and was immediately in love. Bought it the next day

Hopefully you didn't attribute a shimmy in the steering wheel to "unbalanced tires" when in fact it was due to a bad tie rod end and shot LCA bushings
