Bluetooth

I just purchased a 2006 mini cooper S convertible and on the steering wheel there is a phone button but the manual does not explain how to pair to it can anyone help me.

The bluetooth was an option somehow, I don't know exactly how it works or if you have to buy something to make it work, but I noticed the same thing on my 06 MCS hardtop. There is also what appears to be a microphone next to the sunroof control in mine..

Go in to the computer by clicking on the menu button on the radio. Select phone. You should then see an option for BT and for pairing.
