How Accurate is the Speedometer?
When doing alternative tire size calculations, going from 195/55 to 205/60 will make the speedometer read slower but if the speedometer reads a bit fast, as is the case with just about every car I've ever owned, it won't matter.
The 205/60/16 size is much more common and there are more options and better prices.

my cms all4 (03/2012 build) reads 1.9 mph faster than my aviation gps shows (aviation gps, 12 sat tracking, accurate to 0.1 mph) from 10 mph to 120 mph
interesting thing, this is the first vehicle i have owned that is off by a constant and not a percentage

206/60/16 is a bit big, substantially bigger than stock. 205/55/16 is pretty common and fits. I've run that and it makes the speedo read about right.
With the stock sizes the speedo is 1%-2% + 2mph fast.

BMW seems to throw in a constant 2 to 3 mph error into their speedometers. If you have one of MINI's smaller wheel/tire combinations you'll also have another 2 or 3% error on top of that.
