While I am sorry to hear about the issues you had, for future notice, any time you have a turbo or supercharged engine you need to run premium as the engine needs the higher octane rating in order to not get what is known as knock (basically the gas self ignites in the cylinder before the piston reaches the top if it's stroke putting strain on the internals of the engine. Prolonged exposure will damage you engine and if it's severe enough it can actually destroy it.)

Also, I'm jealous of your seats!

Thanks for the advice

Normal Fuel in the UK is 95 Octane

The V-Power Fuel is 99 Octane

The fuel in the UK/EU has more Juice

I have notice that it does run better on V Power fuel - put it in every 3 fill fuels

I love my seats soo much

Thanks for the read CKeffer - I post every monday

Wait, they say to use premium fuel (V-power) but you are only using it once every three fills? Did I read your last post correctly?

Actually you need to do a little research. We use AKI here, not RON or MON for our fuel ratings in cars. The number may look different but they are comparable in octane.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating

Also, it is a car and can have issues, nothing is perfect. I'm glad they gave you something but really what they owed you was a working car and to cover your rental and that was about it. This new attitude that we should be compensated when something goes wrong is a little disturbing.

Thanks for the info

Generally know that our fuel has been a better quality in the uk/EU

Well if you brought a brand new car and had problems since day one and it took 7 months to fix I am sure u would want some form of compensation

I was put through a lot of aggro just to get it fixed

Going to dealership every two weeks wears off after a while
