Those who FINALLY got their 2012 support group
Did you get the disco lighting working???
I actually found the Minimalism Analyser a little conservative in "motoring". It seemed to get the good stars and scores, I really had to tame my driving.
So, instead, I keep it on the Driving Excitement and watch how much torque and horse power I'm using. Also the Forcemeter is pretty cool... especially if you like hard turns.

you can go to 4,500 rpm during the first 1200 miles, as stated in the OM

We have to keep my hubby's truck to pull our boat......
I'll just have to try really hard to share my MINI with him.
Is that a MINI Connected feature?
I feel sad for you that you were able to sell your Jeep. (I traded in my Wrangler, it wasn't an easy decision)
Viv doesn't need any stinking bling, she has you already!
I'm happy for you that you were able to sell your Jeep, it would have been nice if you received what you were asking.

So can anyone who has an ihpone 4s tell me if they hear a humming sound through the speakers when trying to listen to the ipod portion of the phone? I'm guessing it's because it's an iphone and the radio is causing interference. I'll try to hook up my ipod touch via bluetooth and listen to the music that way (or I guess I could just hook it up and not plug in the iphone?). Let me know if any of you has heard humming... Thank you!
With the blue tooth you may need to turn up the volume in the car during a call. Check the tone/volume settings in Purrl, that may be the problem.
Also if you have the armrest you may want to try the iPhone cradle, if it works for you they're expensive but convenient. (No I don't have one, an iPhone either for that matter.) But the cable works great with my iPod!
Go back and try a new cable.

By the way, a little more Hawkling news. The MA emailed me and had the nerves to say this:
"To be honest I am a little frustrated that you bought the car in Seattle without even contacting me due to something I had no control of."
Here's my response:
"I understand your frustration as I too was fustrated but not because the car was damaged. I understand it was not your fault the car was damaged, however it is up to you to attempt to find out what is going on and for many days all I was hearing was the same thing "The system says it's released to carrier" or something to that effect and released to carrier means that it's been checked and ready for shipment. These updates only came after I had emailed you or Eddie. This was told to me well beyond the 3rd which is what the system showed as the date the car was damaged or found damaged. You also mentioned that it was a mirror that was being painted. Seems simple enough but the days following there was no update and a mirror really should be a simple fix. So my frustration was the lack of updates and the unwillingness to call someone to find out what was going on. I called Portland Mini and Seattle Mini at one point and one of them told me about calling the trucking company to find that the driver stopped off in Oregon for the holiday causing a delay. So they called someone but you continued to email and emails can get ignored. So it really felt like something was not being told to me. Then I sent that long email and about 30 mins later you respond that it was damaged. I lost trust in anything you guys told me including the severity of the damage. There was no follow up from you for days after that until today. Had I not gone to Seattle Mini, I'd still be left in the dark watching people who's ships coming in well after mine (including another person who's in Hawaii and had to wait 2 more weeks to get his after Port Hueneme) brag about the excitement of getting their vehicles.
With all that said, I'd appreciate pics of the car when/if it comes in but I understand if you don't want to bother."
LOL

Not much room at all, I only put my house keys in there if I go out. It should be pre-wired for the iPhone cradle. There would be a thin removable cover over it.
At least it sold! Congratulations. Now its time to start saving for some bling for Viv. I just love that name.
How odd? Maybe your cable is faulty. My cable is just the opposite. It's really hard to push in and really hard to unhook?

, so no bling for Viv right now.
