I just owned a 2004 MINI COOPER Base 50. How often should I do oil change ? When I turn the ignition key to 1, the display shows 10150 and I think drive 10150 miles before change the oil is too much. I might be wrong I'm just trying to get some advise here. Thank you so much !!

 

If the car is new to you, change it now and then every 5-7.5K with full synthetic and don't pay attention the service interval on the dash for oil changes.

 

We recommend to our customers that they change it every 5k miles, but everyone has their own opinions on this. I do every 5k in my own MINI.
