They have a shade, sort of. It's more of a screen. There are lots of holes, so it's not a solid panel like in a lot of other cars.

I've read some posts about people saying not to tint their sunroof. However, I've yet to read a single account of a sunroof shattering because of excess heat caused by tint. I *have* read several posts from people who've tinted their sunroof with no issues. The reputable and very popular tint shop that did mine have done loads of them here in Vegas. If the Vegas summer isn't shattering sunroofs left and right, then you're probably OK. YMMV, and it's up to you whether you want to take the "risk", but like I said...I've yet to hear of any real-world issues, and it gets up to 110+ degrees F here in August. Of course, I'm not letting my car sit in the sun and then dumping a bucket of cold water on it, either.

I'm quite happy with the 5% ceramic tint on mine!!
