I have the armrest from mini fini. It's pricey, but better than factory quality. I've had it in the car for a year (15k miles) with no signs of fatigue. The only thing is, it achors where the cup holder would be for the back seat passengers in the hatchback coopers. Seeing as you have a coupe, you should call them to make sure it will fit.

My FIL had the MINI one installed at the dealer and so far no issues with it. It is an R56 though.

Awesome and they are in Columbus! Wonder if I can pick it up instead of shipping....

The Coupe seems to have a cup holder behind the emergency brake and I assume MINI is using the same console for all the cars (Countryman excluded), so hopefully its a fit.

How does it mount? Screws into the plastic of the bottom of the cup holder? Any pix of it installed in your car?

Thanks for the Info!

It actually mounts with a thick aluminum plate into the body metal of the car below the center console, so you have to remove the console to install. It courses through the rear cupholder and then a rubber boot covers up the structure that goes through the cupholder. It's a bit of an involved install, but definitely quality stuff with detailed instructions. Take your time and you'll be fine. However, I'd still call to make sure it fits. And if you're going to pick it up in person, you have the advantage of having one of the staff check it out in person. Good luck!

Oh, and the pics on the website are pretty much what I could take in my car.
