Buying a Mini

I have no experience with Mini, but will be buying my first one, hopefully, in the next week or so. Some of the "newer" car companies promote a haggle free buying process. Typically speaking, is this how Mini works? I've purchased quite a few vehicles in my day and have gotten pretty good at getting good deal, so should I expect to get a lot off sticker or does Mini price them close to what you will actually pay?

Thanks.

My purchase experience was based on the fact that I ordered Llanrhaeadr with a few options that I wanted, and paid sticker price. Others who bought off the lot, or loaded with expensive options likely had different experiences.

My impression is that MINI is pretty firm on their prices.

Keep in mind that with the rising gas prices, MINIs will be in greater demand. So MINI will likely be even tougher to get a deal out of.

I got $1000 off my (08 used bought in December/2011) MINI just by waiting ~20 hours and going back the next day. Grant it, I didn't actually do any of the haggling; the price was just reduced.

They outright refused to lower the price even a penny below sticker.

When I purchased my mini 06, 38K miles on the clock, great condition, the dealer stood firm, this was in Dec. 2011. The car was priced on target 13K.

Every dealer is different and it really depends on where you are in the US. If MINI's are hot in the area price stays up.
