No mention of carbon fiber? The black coupe would be 10x better with carbon fiber pieces in my opinion.. I couldn't imagine putting that kind of coin down and having all that plastichrome again imo

Anything in moderation is fine. A cars that is totally blacked-out would look as bad a one totally slathered in chrome. Actually, I take that back. This ridiculous chrome MINI actually looks better than the MINI's that are plasti-dipped all black...

I believe that chrome is appropriate, in moderation, if you are going for a classy look rather than a sporty look. I really don't think chrome can be associated with a specific decade, though, as it has been around since cars have been around. Of course, they did use a lot of chrome in the 50s.

In my car's case, the chrome is appropriate because of my color scheme. The chrome (silver) accents the color of my car (white silver + black):

For my taste and the look I'm going for (classy rather than sporty), I think it's just the right amount of chrome.

no plasti dip here ... vinyl wrapped everything thats black on my car ... no cheap way out.

I enjoy chrome on cars but in my opinion not on the MINI... looks better on a lot of other cars but not MY MINI...

This car here is actually not bad looking, i guess because its so unique thats why. Id never do it to my car but I can appreciate the time and money spent on making this all chrome. Must be a b***h to keep clean and shiny.

Reminds me of the all chrome pickup trucks in the opening ceremonies at the Olympics in Atlanta years ago.

Spend some mo money, it makes a good stimulus package. Chrome or not it's still a mini.
