Wish all parking spots were this large
I was in Seattle last week and spotted an SUV straddling two parking spots (both of which were marked "compact"). I was going to snap a picture of it but didn't want to get fingered for doing something nefarious. It was a classic "fail" tho.

That is just inexcusable. My question, was he there first or you? If you were then I'd be extra pissed since he then blocked you in (even if he was I'd still be pissed he feels important enough to disregard the concept of a parking spot).Same here most times but it's always some massive SUV that finds its way next to me (Mom's on Long Island don't drive minivans, they drive the biggest most obnoxious SUV's they can find).
I would super glue the door handles on the driver side so he would have to crawl through or i would probably wait till the car on the other side left and then park right next to the other side of the car and wait, record it and put it on youtube.
I love those big parking spots, and i would park disgonal so that no big SUV doesnt think he can take my space just cause he thinks he deserves the extra room. Get your own Space!!

I guess that is the one of the "undocumented" bennies for having a handicap parking sticker (I do), I always get to park with lot of room.
On a side note, if I had someone park like that next to my car, I would take a damn hammer to it!

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack the thread. I didn't do anything to the car, but I took pictures to report it. The car is parked on the line agian today, but no other car is next to it. I saw it while I was looking for my wallet I dropped somewhere between floors (found it), so I didn't take any pictures...the driver probably won't change his/her habbits anyway.
Sorry agian

Not sure where you are located but here's hoping that guy parks like that at DFW airport. My coworker parked next to a car who was hugging the line, so she had to park a little further over. Turns out her tire was touching the line and they fined her $250. When she inquired about it she was told that yes, they were fining for any amount over the line.
I just read that this morning before hitting NAM...printing my "business cards" now
Read the article it has a link to the second one. It is you park like an *** hole dot com. NAM is blocking it because they don't believe in swearing on their website.
Did you report the clown to the police? That can't be legal - deliberately blocking someone's car door just for a parking spot. One thing that makes my blood boil is when the silly cops are bending over backwards and scraping the floor for speeding tickets. They should ticket everyone who parks like this ON THE SPOT. It would take care of morons like this really quickly.
People who are this selfish deserve to get fined ON THE SPOT. What a selfish jerk.
You guys are up in arms over a VW...imagine if you came out of Taco Bell and saw this:

As you can see, they had at least 3 spots to the left that were open. These photos along with a nice letter to the Chief raised the appropriate level of supervisory administrative action...

I can understand taking up the spots but parking like that is just laziness. Most firefighters are better then that at parking. They normally will line up straight in a parking spot and not park like they are in the middle of a seizure.
The VW guy would have 4 flat tires...I would just let the air out though. Wouldn't key his car or anything, that would cost $$$ to fix. Air, well, the owner would just need a air pump.
You guys are sad! Keying? Hammering? Glueing valve stems? All those things are against the law...You really want to teach a guy like that a lesson without breaking the law (and becoming an anus yourself) you call a buddy and have them pull up on his drivers side within inches of the door and neither of you move your car. Without a sunroof he ain't getting back in his car.
I would simply leave them the note, "very kind of you to leave a ladder :-)", roll down my window with the key fob, step in and motor on. No need to over exert myself either.

oops
Cars that park like this next to my Mini mysteriously end up stickers on the windshield right in front of the steering wheel. I'm not going to say what happens when they park like this next to my truck.
