Sold my 2008 Mini
Just as my warranty was about to expire I decided to sell my 2008 Justa Mini. Part of the incentive was a friend of mine who bought her Mini a month before mine and blew her transmission at 70,000 miles. Dealer wanted $6,000 to fix and offered her $2,000 to buy.
The other incentive was I became one of the first 86 to be given the opportunity to buy the new Scion FRS before anyone else. Hard to turn down. I will miss my Mini, the handling and braking as well as the quirkiness, but not the threat of poor reliability hanging over my head. Maybe sometime in the future I'll come back to Mini ownership.

It's the automatic. Tough choice but left knee replacement and marriage dictated the choice. Good transmission though. Had the auto in the Mini as well and it wasn't too bad
Just the FRS. Scion and Subaru seem to be intent on keeping everything separate even though its the same car.

Scion doesn't haggle. Price is unknown right now but I was told by a Scion HQ rep it will be around $24,900. Only options are color and transmission. Accessories can be had at the time of sale.
