Official Mini folding bike, anyone have one?

Was at the Mini dealer and saw that Mini has an official Mini-branded folding bike. Never even heard of it before. Here's a pic:

Just wondering, does anyone have one?
Anyone have any type of folding bike that you use in the boot on your Mini?

Any info is appreciated, thanks.

This looks like a Tern Link Uno, which we have -- http://bit.ly/Awz2dq

There's definitely a learning curve to folding it the first few times, and you'll forget how if you don't do it for a while, but beyond that? It's a nice little bike for casual use. We use ours more for quick jaunts in the city than anything else.

I heard this bike discussed on White Roof Radio. Interesting but I expect it will be like most OEM accessories and cost way more than should.

here's a link to a story on Motoringfile: http://www.motoringfile.com/2011/04/...ur-minis-boot/

Thanks for the heads up and info.

Nice bike

I bought this folding bike and like it a lot, even though I haven't gotten to use it much due to winter weather.

It is almost identical to the Tern Uno that was mentioned above. That's a great help to know, because Tern's website has more complete manuals than what came with the bike. The bike comes with a carrying bag that I couldn't quite figure out until I saw the pdf manual for it.

It isn't priced any higher by MINI than it is by Tern, so I actually feel I got my money's worth. It's very well made and high quality.
