I ordered a new 2012 Cabrio in December (and it just went into build - woohoo!), and I thought I would get a head start by going through the online manual in the Owners Lounge... but it only has manuals up to 2011!

Anyone know where to get the 2012 manual? Or when it will be posted?

2011/2012 are essentially the same, so I'm not sure there is anything in a 2012 owner's manual that you'd be missing out on by sticking with the existing 2011 one until your car arrives.

The 2012 manual is finally available in the Owner's Lounge.

Now that the 2013 MINIs are arriving, I thought I'd check to see if they finally released the 2012 manual. Strange thing is only has instructions for MINIs with the nav system, nothing if you want to access the computer through the standard radio.

 

I had the wrong owners manual in my coupe. It was for the R58/59 series but for the NAV option which I did not have. It appears the manual I had was for a roadster as I found a paper that had details of the car it belong to. It was an R59 with a different VIN than mine. I asked the SA to get me the correct manual. They had a hard time coming up with one. It took them almost 3 months to get the correct manual. I tried to go online but as you found nothing for 2012 at that time (April).
