Sorry if this has been covered, but I couldn't find much info out there. Did the Cooper's hood design change in 2011? I'm talking about the base model, U.S. market - it seems like the hood got a wider bulge. Can someone confirm this? Here are some photos illustrating what I mean ...


Old base Cooper bonnet (pre-2011). Narrow torpedo-like bulge runs between washer jets.





Newer, curvier base Cooper bonnet (2011+), similar to European Cooper D hood. Washer jets sit atop a wider bulge.

Didn't you just answer your own question with pictures? I don't know about 2011, but I know the hood did changed somewhere along the way due to EU pedestrian impact laws.
