I use the factory rubber mats for daily use. Especially in the winter. Then, for special occasions, I'll swap them out for a set of GP mats I've got. (I don't want to wear the GP mats prematurely from daily use.)

Wow, I said the floor mats were "fugly" and get a personal beatdown. I didn't know rubber floor mats meant so much to your psyche. Have another drink and relax.

Personal beatdown? I don't care either way, carpet or rubber, but if I were to go and insult a persons choice I wouldn't get all hurt when called out on it and act surprised and insulted but that's the internet for ya.

I believe the OP asked for opinions/recommendations. I gave mine. If you don't agree, that's ok.

If you think that was a personal beatdown you might want to stay away from the interwebs. It was a joke. Get over yourself.

All I have to say is that every Mini owner should have two sets of mats. One for wet/muddy/snowy times, the other for nice summer times when you can keep them clean easier.

As for fugly.....any wheels other than black are fugly.

Hmm try any of the MINI aftermarket places. Dealership shouldn't be too bad.

I use the rubber Mini mats in the winter. I put the factory carpeted mats away so that if I ever sell my Coupe I will put em back in when I sell and they will be like brand new. I think I am going to try a set of the Cocomats for normal summer driving.
