Last summer on a trip to the Pacific Northwest and Vancouver with friends we were introduced to the game "Yellow Car". It's a very simple game: if you see one, call it out and you get a point (it can't be a construction or service vehicle, a taxi, or a school bus; basically it has to be a private car).
Well, we've now replaced that with the game "MINI". A lot more fun and certainly a lot less likely to have false-positives by spotting a MINI school bus or dump truck!

Sounds like you are playing the Mini version of the old Punch Buggy game.
Actually, my father in law last year picked up a Chevy HHR. When he did we really hadn't seen these things anywhere until he got his. Then it seemed like they were everywhere. My wife started playing the HHR version of Punch Buggy after that.
Since getting the Mini however, we've transitioned the game over to Mini's. However, she's always been one that you have to say the color of the car, so I'm trying to make her learn the Mini Color Names. :D

When we see other MINIs or Soul's, we call them out, "there's a MINI Friend" or "there's a Soul Friend!!
