Marinetraffic.com no longer shows current information on the Torino, which supposedly docked at the Port of Baltimore at 4:00 AM this morning (per scheduled ETA). Where is my Roadster?
I just ran my VIN through Cargo ID at the WW website and received the latest notation:
CUSTOMS RELEASE WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ 30-09-2013 00:00:00
WTF? I'm thoroughly confused at this entry. I'm supposedly docking at Baltimore today, so did the Torino stop in New Jersey 9/30 for customs inspection before departing for Baltimore today? Was this merely a computerized U.S. Customs clearance? Is it an erroneous entry at the WW site?

I feel your pain Tampadave. Don't know what to offer although I'm leaning toward an error on the site. Baltimore is a huge port.
I can't wait to see this Roadster - I've only seen them in black, silver and red...

Since my post, I discovered it's standard procedure. The entry appears at the WW site two days before the ship docks in Baltimore. I guess it's a computerized entry.
Update: My ship is moving up the Chesapeake Bay, nearing Washington, DC, in it's approach to Baltimore. Should dock within hours.

Marinetraffic.com has the Torino within 5 kilometers of the Port of Baltimore. Now we'll have to see how long it takes to unload, clear customs, check out the vehicle, secure ground transport, and make the hour's drive to Sterling, VA. Not too much, eh? When my daughters were born, the critical waiting period lasted a matter of hours. This drama's played itself out since August 17th .... my nerves are frayed.
Enjoy!! Do you have your MINI yet? If so, post pics :D We love pics!
AN ASK MINI rep just told me my Roadster was released to Precision Motor Transport earlier today for the ride to MINI of Sterling. Maybe it's a paper assignment or maybe my Roadster is actually boarding a carrier. I have absolutely no idea. My MA has instructions to call me whenever the truck rolls in! I'd be ecstatic just to see my Roadster, much less drive it away.

If it rolls in today, great! Sunny and 88 degrees in the forecast. If it rolls in Monday, we're getting swiped by Tropical Storm Karen with a lot of rain. Busy day today: Ohio State and Alabama football, plus my daughter is taking the LSAT today. We promised her dinner out tonight. If it rolls in today, trust me, I will find a way to get to MINI of Sterling.

I'm stopping by the dealership Sunday. My Roadster still has his delivery wrap on, but I just want to see it. I'll take a phone picture or two, but don't know if I'll post until after delivery when he's looking good. Probably both.
