'09 Mini Cooper "lock" options?

Can the 2009 mini cooper be programed to have the lights flash when the lock button is pushed on the key fob? If so, please provide some direction on how to accomplish it.

Thanks...

Look in your owners manual.
If you don't have one you can download a PDF version from here:

Yes, but it will only do it from the unlocked state. If the car is locked and you hit lock again, the interior light will come on and the car will not flash again. Should be able ot be set through the stalk end.

On my '10 the lights flash when locking and unlocking but they only flash one time for each position. If you press the same button more than once then the lights do not flash again. So if you use the flashing light to find your car in a dim parking garage then you would have to alternate pressing the lock and unlock buttons.

That's what I found out too even thought the manual seem to state differently (page 21, user manual). Hence, my question.

Thanks, klricks.
