All,

I know this belongs in OT, or some other area, but I could not relegate it to someplace where it may never be seen. If the mods choose to move it, so be it.

I stumbled across this forum, after reading something in a BMW forum, and through my clicks, I found something that I immediately recognized as the mark of a departed friend.

Your user, GoodFinder, passed away from cancer, in February. I did a search of the forums, but could not find any mention of it. I apologize, if it has already been mentioned.

Steve was my neighbor, and a great guy. It is still very difficult to believe that I won't ever see his smiling face, behind the wheel of that Mini, with the "IFLYBY" vanity plate.

Knowing what a kind and helpful soul he was, I thought there was a pretty good chance someone on here might have wondered what became of him.

RIP Steve.

What they said, TX.

I didn't know Steve at all, but I'm touched by your good deed, and by the two thoughtful responses above.
