My 2011 MCS with a JCW kit indicated a fault code yesterday. I went to local private service shop (my mini dealer is 120 miles away) to read the codes. Three codes came up;
1) 2947--coolant temp sensor
2) 29dc---charge air temp sensor
3) 2c58---charge air pressure control

The tech cleared the codes and checked for loose wiring/connectors under the hood. It has been OK since then, but I have only driven it about 10 miles since. It has been six weeks since the JCW kit was installed, so I don't think that is involved, but worth mentioning.
Any ideas on this?

 

What type of scanner was used? Those you posted are NOT valid federal P-codes or the specific MINI FC codes.

Im not sure what was used; a red box, about a foot square. I'll check with the tech today.
