iOS 5 finally allows for custom text message notifications!

I made this for my girlfriend but figured I'd share...

I recorded a mini doing the "bum BUM bum BUM" that you hear when you leave the keys in or the lights on and turned it into a text message notification or ring tone for iOS devices.

Just drag this into iTunes and sync your device!

It would be even more brilliant if MINI put out a high quality version of it.

 

Sounds decent on my computer, but now on the phone it sounds a bit "cartoony". Some of the tones are a bit different now, like the sent noise when you send a text or email.

 

Any chance you could upload an mp3 version of it so us non-iOS5 users could use it?
