Has anyone experienced there power steering pump on a 2004 Min Cooper running continously I have to disconnect the battery to get it to shut off. First I thought it was the fan,so i climbed under the car while it was cold,the noise was still there but the fan wasn't turning. There must be a relay that is open but I cannot locate it. I have went to the fuse boxes inside the car and underneath the hood,pulled everything that looks like a relay that looks like the symbols of a fan or pump. H E L P . The wife wants her car back.

Exact issue...pump's electronics have failed internally...
Get a new pump.
