The answer is simple,once the speed of the vehicle has been verified,and the driver is speeding and happens to be driving a red or any brightly colored car that vehicle stands out in a sea of drab colored vehicles. This makes it very easy for the peace officer chase down and issue a citation. It's not the color of the vehicle prior to speed verification, it's after.. Remember it's not always speed that draws attention,driving erratic, numerous unsignaled lane changes and the big one driving in the inside lane or as some call it the fast lane... so i've been told..

5 years & no tickets for me (knock on wood).

My car is very understated but the supercharger whine W/RMW header & JCW exhaust do attract a little more attention than I would like sometimes.

 

My car is in inconspicuous and blends in. ( no tickets )

 

Red cars go faster...

 

I had a red car for four years before selling it and never got pulled over. I had my Astro black MINI for 6 months and got pulled over for the first time resulting in a ticket. No break, no nothing.

This is besides the point but fought it and won.

 

We look fast just sitting still.
