apple iphone phone book display

Would a car with blue tooth, but no mini-connected, display the phone book of a smart phone?

Yes, I have access to my iPhone book on my radio by scrolling up and down the display.

Yes, at least with my 3GS 4.3? IOS. However it will not voice dial numbers from Iphone
