I was just thinking how awesome it would be to have a section to download differant service manuals, example 2002-2006, 2007-2011, etc... Opinions???

 

Well, MINI has made the *owner's* manuals available free for download, but the various companies that publish service manuals for the MINI haven't, and you'd run afoul of copyright issues if you scanned/distributed them yourself.

 

Some other NAM members just posted a link that you can look up part and part drill down diagrams, here is the link.

That's the only printed manual for the newer cars (R55/56/57), but there are already printed Haynes and Bentley manuals for the earlier cars (R50/52/53).

There are also electronic TIS/ETK (service manuals and parts catalogs) that BMW publishes on disc. I found the first-gen TIS manuals online as well, although I don't know if the site has the rights to publish them:
